    Shoot with Denise marks my return to photography after a long break. I think, artists would call it an existential crisis, but for me, it was more about struggling to see how just taking pictures could really make a difference. It took time—and some wonderful people along the way—to help me find that clarity.

    Now I know, it’s not “just” taking pictures. Photography gives me joy, and I can see that it means something to the people I photograph too.
